Stagecoach Wirral has been providing quality part-time training in singing, dancing and acting for over 10 years. As part of the longest running and most successful children’s performing arts schools network in the world Stagecoach Wirral is more than just a stage school, theatre school or drama school. We are proud to offer a full and rounded education, teaching life skills to build confidence and stretch imaginations through singing, acting and dance classes.

Our Early Stages sessions are suitable for 4-6year olds and act as a gentle introduction to the main schools. In the Main Schools children and teens aged 6-18 years, learn to sing, dance and act at weekends or evenings during term time.

For children already doing drama in school, Stagecoach complements the skills learned by improving diction, concentration and improvisation technique. For those not already involved with drama in schools, our drama classes are perfect for building confidence, introducing role play techniques and memorising scripts.

All Stagecoach teachers are CRB checked and have access to ongoing training.

Early Stages – Classes for 4-6 yrs

stagecoach early stages imgEarly Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, for children aged 6-18 years. The Early Stages class is split up into three 30 minute sessions, lasting 90 minutes in total. The class sizes are kept small (15 max) to enable every child to get the most from the skills learned.

Sing – Children learn to identify where and how sound is formed in their bodies through the singing lessons. They discover the importance of timing and rhythm, improving diction, while learning lyrics to popular and fun songs.

Dance – In the kids dance classes, motor skills are refined along with balance and coordination. Simple dance moves allow the children to express themselves freely while working in group.

Drama – Building on the exciting imaginations of young children, the drama classes are full of ideas to take children on the wildest of journeys. Social skills are also learned and young kids gain the tools to enable them to share and be giving. As they grow and develop, children find it easier to express themselves physically and emotionally.

Main School – Classes for 6-18 yrs

Split into groups of similar age ranges each group rotate, where they learn an hour of acting, an hour of drama and an hour of dance.
