Vale House Cafe & Tea Room

We are a New Brighton based community café & tea-room, situated in the heart of Vale Park, Magazine Lane, New Brighton.  We are open 7 days a week.

We cater for all tastes and ages and our aim is to provide affordable, simple, home-cooked food, great service, within a relaxing and accessible environment and we also have the most delicious ice creams, high teas and a full take-away service.

Our location in Vale Park means that we benefit from the park’s green flag status, wonderful views across the River Mersey, regular entertainment from the band stand and a newly fitted children’s play area in addition to the beautiful and peaceful rose garden.

At one end of the park is the famous New Brighton promenade, running up from Seacombe to New Brighton for 3.5km, perfect for seaside strolling or bike riding with spectacular views across the River Mersey of the Liverpool Waterfront panorama.

There is plenty of free parking in Magazine Lane and limited parking within the park from Vale Drive.  We are only 2 minutes walk from local bus stops that serve Wirral and Liverpool and about 10 minutes walk from New Brighton Train station, all of the new New Brighton developments (Morrison’s, The Light etc) and Seacome Ferry.

With our cafe being on the ground floor we have disability access and support for everyone.

Our children’s area has recently been completely replaced with fabulous new equipment, and has an area of play for every age! We have a great babies area, complete with bouncing horses and a climbing frame. Our kid’s playpark also has a funky new stand-up see-saw, a giant discovery climbing area and multiple swings, including a disabled-access. We also have a babies’ swing set, with surrounding picnic tables for parents. We also have a free to use,  sand-covered football-pitch, if you fancy trying your luck at a few goals with the kids.

There is plenty of parking all around the park, and for those with young children, there is a small car park, meaning you can reach those all-important essentials packed in the car easily. Also with a disabled-access car park, the play area is accessible to everyone! Also, for the more mature members of the family, the Vale Park Rose Garden is just off from the play park.
